Pop Daddy's Halloween Countdown Day 41
Day 41(Posted October 11, 2020): When it comes to spooky video games, zombie killing can be a genre on it's own. Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, CoD Zombies, Dead Rising, House of the Dead, Dead Island, Dead Space, plus, many many more. But, my personal favorite is the add on to another game, for zombie killing, in my opinion, it doesn't get better than Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption which is their western successor to Grand theft Auto(in my opinion, the better series and Red Dead Redemption 2 may be one of the best video games ever made) is an amazing and beautiful game. Red Dead Redemption was released in May 2010 to positive critical and player approval. On October 26th 2010 (just in time for Halloween!) Rock star released a DLC called Undead Nightmare(I love me some DLC) . This pack didn't just add new characters, weapons, horses and missions. But the biggest threat that this game added, was zombies!
As John Marston you fight to cure your family from the zombie curse, as you fight through the hordes you'll encounter characters such as a Snake Oil Salesman, who sells a zombie repellent, which attracts zombies (it's super effective when you strap a stick of TNT to the bottle) a talking sasquatch
and the four horses or the apocalypse, which you can tame and ride,
My personal favorite is War which has a mane and tail on fire and if you run him into enemies, they'll catch on fire).
Plus, a freaking Unicorn!
If you want a easy going experience, you can set it so your auto aim will go right for the head. The game has a creepy atmosphere and a zombie rocking soundtrack. Along with all of the other extras, there are some new outfits, including one called "Undead hunter" which looks like a certain Bruce Campbell character.
If you're a fan of RDR or zombie killing games in general DEFINITELY pick this one up, it's a rooting, tooting, shooting zombie killing fun time! (Also, the play through is like a scare movie, check it out!)
