The line was out the door, but the wait was only about 15 mins, so that was a plus. I only took the three monster ones and decided against the "Halloween Sprinkle"  and "Spooky Drizzle"  due to one looking just OK and one being sold out.  So, I get these to go and I bring home Drake, Frank and Wolfie. How did they stack up? Day 52: There's something strange going on at Starbucks, and it does look good! Today I'll be looking the Secret menu item: The Ghostbusters Frappuccino.  (As recommended by Patrick)  Now, seeing as this is a secret menu item, you have to order each part separately(like with the Pennywise and Baby Yoda ones) . So, it's a Vanilla Frappuccino base, strawberry puree on the bottom, Raspberry syrup swirl and mocha cookie crumbs(they're on top of the whipped cream). So, I ordered and and I was thinking, I wish the person who thought to get this would put some more green into it as opposed to red slime. Until, I looked more into it. It's not supposed to be a red slime look. It's supposed to look like the "no ghosts" logo. So, if you order this, after you take your pic, be sure to mix, otherwise, your first mouthful will be strawberry. Day 45(Posted October 15, 2020): I ain't afraid of no ghost, but am I afraid of Dunkin' Donuts new Spicy GHOST Pepper donut?  So, I just finished it up and I thought I'd write this up, while the experience was still fresh in my mind (unlike the donut) I went to the store after work to grab some things and I thought while I was out, I'd pick this up and bust two ghosts with one trap. So, I bring the donut home and while it's still in the paper sleeve, I give a smell, all I can really smell, is the donut itself, no spice or anything.  So, I take my first bite into the airy donut (this is more of a glazed type donut than a cakey one) and my first question is answered. This is a SWEET donut not a savory one, so put away the ranch and get out the milk. There's a berry taste in here also, which I think is strawberry. That is what you taste the most. Day 43(Posted October 13, 2020): Carvel has a Halloween shake and it's based off of most people's favorite family friendly Halloween movie. So, did their Hocus Pocus shake put a spell on me?  I've MAYBE been to a Carvel 2 or 3 times in my life (including this time). I've lived up here for almost 7 years and this was my first time at this location(we do have some really good non chain ice cream places up here) and I went in and inquired about the shake. The shake comes on S, M, L sizes, BUT if you want the special Hocus Pocus cup, it comes on small only, if you order another size though, they'll give you an empty cup for keeps. They make it seem like it's supposed to be a special keepsake cup, but the plastic feels not as strong as fast food keepsake plastic cups, but not as weak as fast food/coffee shop iced coffee plastic cups(2022 update: It's same with the cups I'm giving away).  Now, onto the shake, this guy is col...

Day 40(Posted October 10, 2020): I'm gonna tell you guys about the other snack I picked up yesterday, the Hostess Iced Pumpkin Cupcakes! Do they live up to your pumpkin cravings?  First and foremost the box is nice and autumny with a pumpkin that says "limited edition" on them. The cupcakes inside are individually wrapped as opposed to Tastykake style that are usually 2 in a single wrapper. Now with the twinkies, I told you that the Pumpkin scent will get you if you hold them up to your nose? Well, these ones will knock you in the nose from a foot away, it's that strong. The texture of the frosting, cake and filling are the same as regular Hostess cupcakes.  The pumpkin taste is STRONG with these, the cream inside is ok and the icing compliments it nicely. The frosting and cream taste like straight up sugar, if they were supposed to taste like anything else, I didn't taste it. Overall, these cupcakes will compliment a chilly nig...

Day 39(Posted October 9th, 2020): Another week, another trip to the store. There wasn't much by way of pumpkin spice, but I found something with pumpkin spice's cousin caramel apple. So, tonight I'm trying these Caramel Apple Cookies by Pepperidge Farm.   So, the cookies that are soft and chewy, so, that's nice. There are oats in there, so, that kind of messes with the texture (for me at least). Both the apple and caramel flavors are there, the apple is a bit subtle, but that taste stays with you. The caramel stands out, and adds an extra bit of sweetness to the cookie, which would otherwise be apple and oat. These cookies are pretty OK, if any of what I said sounds appealing, give them a grab! Stay Spooky!

Day 27(Posted on September 27, 2020): I told you that I had a little Halloween food shopping spree the other day, so here's today's food, Pumpkin Spice Twinkies.  So, these look like regular Twinkies, but once you take a bite, if you're not expecting it, that pumpkin spice taste hits you in the face. Now, when you unwrap these, you can smell the pumpkin spice. So, if you were hoping to trick a friend with these, unless they have a bad sense of smell, you're not tricking anyone. The sponge cake has the same consistency, the cream is a little fluffier(I can't remember how long it's been since I've had a Twinkie, so it might have always been this fluffy), but both the cake and the cream are loaded with pumpkin spice.  So, if you don't like Twinkies and/or don't like pumpkin spice, give these a pass, because they are loaded. But if you like both, these are a MUST BUY.

Day 26(Originally Posted September 26th, 2020): I hope you guys like the food reviews, because after a trip to Target, there's gonna be a few of them. Just like these: caramel apple jacks.                             Tim gave the box 4 paws.  So, I picked this up and I'm assuming this is a fall flavor, even though there is nothing on the front or back of the box to signify that (I at first thought it was a fall fair, but it's a CARMival)  The box is sort or orangish, so maybe that counts. So, you open the box and bag and that smell hits you and I'll say good job Kellogg's! They got the smell down. But, how do they taste?  They added a nice caramel flavor to the regular apple jacks and it's good. Let's look at VooDew!  When it comes to halloween drinks Coke and Pepsi themselves don't really have much to offer (Pepsi's Universal monster marketing in the early 90's was nostalgic perfection). But, Mountain Dew and Sprite, usually come through on the holiday flavors(Red, white and Dew is the first that comes to mind) it comes as a ghostly white translucent liquid in your standard Mt. Dew bottle, but in clear, as to peek the liquid inside. You crack open the black cap and take a swig of the mystery flavor. How's it taste? The first thing that comes to mind is Skittles. its a citrus and creamy mix with a hint of cherry. Not that bad, but a little too sweet, if that's your thing, definitely get this.
